It's now about 4.26 am local time... I've been traveling for last 10 hours with a connection at "Vnukovo" airport, Moscow...

Oh my... I could write a book about this trip... will start tomorrow :)

For now I could say just one thing: I've NEVER EVER EVER spent a 130 roubles (~$4) for a trip from an airport to a city center :)

Setup Tomcat on Mac OS X

How to develop Java EE applications on MacOS X? Eclipse + Tomcat is a good setup. You may download Eclipse from eclipse.org, just extract it to the folder you want. Tomcat setup a bit complicated...

1. Download latest binaries: Tomcat 7.0
2. Extract it to /Library/Tomcat
3. Lunch Terminal
4. cd /Library/Tomcat/bin
5. chmod 777 *.sh
6. Start it via ./startup.sh and kill it by ./shutdown.sh
7. Setup server configuration in Eclipse.

Back to the future? Forward to the past!

Hi folks! I'm back... Here I'm starting a new blog about Russia and my new life :)
It's pretty clear to me, what peoples around "had me" with my blog and all my thoughts about Russia, so, I've started it for you and all my friends around the world :) It means, it will be written in english... mostly :)

I spent a lot of hours during last few days in NY trying to create a name for my new blog... I was overhelmed by positive experience and thoughts about my future and "Back to the future" looked like a no brainer...

Now I'm in Russia for a week... and some of my thoughts have changed dramatically... :) So, I decide to change the name the same way... from "Back to the future" to "Forward to the past!", cause moving back to Russia from US like a huge downshifting and relocation from the era of space flights to the Stone age. :) By that name I just want to point out the place of this country among other european countries and US, nothing personal :)

I'm still trying to think positive... "Stone age" means somebody have a chance to bring it closer to other world :), but even thinking this way in Russia require a lot of extra energy :)
